when did you start taking pictures? what first got you interested?
Three years ago I got my first digital SLR camera. I started to shoot on film half a year later and completely switched to film about 9 month ago. There appeared a time when I started to realize that everything I know, have, love and hate is constantly changing. And as a bad writer the only way for me to capture and stop the change was by taking photographs.

what artists (visually, musically, or otherwise) have inspired you/ are inspiring you as you grow up?
First of all, David Hamilton. Flickr was always a big inspiration on me too, following artists like Nirrimi Joy Hakanson, Tamara Lichtenstein, Laura Makabresku and Theo Gosselin.

what three words would you say best describe your work?
Light, desire and myself.

what are the last three things that have had an impact on you and your work?
Meeting inspiring photographers, having the time to concentrate on what I love to do and watching Lars von Triers 'Melancholia' in cinema a few weeks ago.

if you could photograph any person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Kate Moss in the early 90s.

do you see your work as more of a documentation of experiences or emotions?

Now that's hard. Probably something between experiences and emotions.

is the future looking good?
I'm a really positive guy, so I'm pretty sure it is.

Ashes in the snow by Mono, Round here by the Counting Crows and The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
