This sequin jacket is one of my favorite things I've ever thrifted. It is also one of the many things that dangle in my closet, staring me down every day, wondering when I'll finally wear them again. I feel I could easily abuse it and wear it all the time, but instead I try to use it sparingly. In fact, I think the last time I wore it was (according to lookbook documentation and my memory of not wearing it since) on my twentieth birthday. The jacket kind of looks to me like the creator decided to cover it with glue and then roll around in mardi gras colored sequins or something. The patterns on it also remind me of stained glass designs. Any clothing item that could resemble the aftermath of a party while simultaneously bringing to mind references of religion is obviously ideal. After all, my favorite thing is contradictions.
