Just some iphone pics from my day today. I haven't been around the blog much because honestly nothing all that interesting is happening. We are in the last month of school, and honestly some days it feels like we are just trying to make it to the finish.
But, even in the midst of the mundane I truly believe one can find special moments. David sent me a text late this morning asking if I wanted to pick him up for lunch, so I hopped in the car and headed over to the med center. We parked at the city park and had lunch near the water. The entire meeting was around an hour, but it really felt like a treat.
Immediately after I drove myself over to the Sephora to stroll through the beauty products all on my own. That in itself felt this the ultimate luxury...looking at lotions and elixers with no one waiting for me. I've been thinking of writing about my skincare routine if any of you might be interested.
Now we are home. Olivia is doing homework while Zoe walks around the house in my high heels ( which is especially funny sincy I only wear flip flops lately.) Supper hasn't even been started because David is working late. I think it may end up being a fried egg on toast kind of night. Happy Thursday everyone!
